Kde 4.1.2

Is there a guide somewhere that can help me understand how to use KDE 4.1.2? It's nice and pretty but the wrong click at the wrong time and the whole thing is broke beyond recognition and I have no idea how to fix what I broke.

You can use F1 to bring up the help menu. KDE's homepage also has a tour/walkthrough. If you still can't figure out what you broke, you can delete the kde settings folder, ~/.kde4 I think it calls it. You may need to enable view hidden files. Logout and log back in, it should do its setup wizard thing.
