KDE 3.5 XX in ubuntu latest???
 

hello i wish to know if there is a way to install kde 3.5 or 3.3 in ubuntu or any other distro from their repositories..

sudo apt-get install kde installs kde4.xx in ubuntu. system slows like hell . Any advice much appreciated.

Debian is still offering KDE 3.5 in their "current" stable release. It's packages are getting a little dated but security and other bug fixes are still being maintained. You will however need to download a copy before their next stable release which is due in the next few months.

KDE 3.5.10 for Ubuntu Karmic is in the PPA repo :
