Kali Linux in Virtualbox
I'm a newbie to Linux system, but exactly not that new, I meant that I ever had learned something called " Fedora ", my problem now is I completed setup kali linux in my virtualbox , Is it impossible to install wireless adapter driver in it? or it surely possible then how to do that? Your virtual machine doesn't have a wireless adapter. The host controls the physical network and then shares it with the guest.

They use a bridge . Did you set up a bridge? Then and this is a Kali thing,the Kali developers DISABLED NETWORKING BY DEFAULT !! if you can not turn it back on then you failed the FIRST of many tests ( the fact that a VM dose not really use wireless would also be a fail on the first test ) figure out HOW to turn the networking back on -- that is your first test in using Kali you will have to find and pass the rest Kali is NOT for " new to Linux users" the developers and "offensive security" really do REQUIRE the user to have at least a masters degree( 6 year ) in computer science and network security -- or -- the equivalent real world experience !!!! |
