k3b error

A while back i had a problem with my cd drive. evemtually i fixed it, but last night when i was trying to burn cd's k3b was giving me basically a timeout error. I don't have it in front of me right now but it was something similar to this:

Failed to connect to *cd drive* exclusively

I know that doesn't give a lot, but any ideas would be helpful

Hi,

Im getting the same error sometimes, the correct error is: "Error trying to open /dev/scd0 exclusively ... retrying in 1 second."

I found out that when I wait with pressing "start" till about 10-15 secs after I have inserted a CD in the drive, then it works flawlessly.

Linux (Fedora Core 1 which Im using) seems to have some delay before it is giving k3b the rights it need.
