k3b: cdrecord did not exit cleanly

G'day Folks,

All of a sudden (really) k3b has started giving problems. Last night I burned two audio cds without any problems, but when I tried to burn the third, k3b reported an error, namely "cdrecord did not exit cleanly".

Well, I have another pc and a laptop with burn capabilities, so I just moved over to them. Same story. Go figure.

I have reinstalled cdrecord and k3b on one machine but that did not solve the problem.

All three machines are running Kanotix and k3b 0.12.7.

Here's the log output from one of the failed sessions:

Please note that I have used k3b to successfully burn cds on this configuration before. Something strange must have happened last night that made everything go pearshaped.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
Joe

Solved it. I had the testing release of cdrecord installed. I reinstalled the stable version and k3b worked perfectly.
