just wondering if there is any unix ultilities on symbian OS?

i know symbian isnt *NIX
but just like even windows has some POSIX parts and there is cygwin for windows as well
so out of curiosity, im wondering if there is anything like that for symbian?

it would be nice to be able to run a shell on a symbian phone lol

Zsh has been ported to symbian. Take a look at these:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...symbian+pips+l

I'm at work, so I can't view half of the pages that come up.

Also, take a look at this: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...th_edition_SDK
