Hi. What Linux distro are you going to be using? Just curious.

tabbyagirl 07-02-2013 09:08 PM

emmm, I think some version of Red Hat Enterprise. I don't have root, how do I find out?

I'm really new

it says Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.5 (Tikanga)

does that make sense? I know I can run awk sed and bash commands, which is what I'll be asking for help with.

Yeah pretty much all Linux base OSs leave you the option on what you want to use for scripting and coding. I haven't had the opportunity to work with Red Hat but I am sure there are lot of users in this forum happy to help.

Good luck to you and welcome.
