Just Joined and getting ready to install Linux

Really new to linux and look forward to learning as much as I can. I am an IT Tech student working towards a Computer networking degree, which includes learning linux. So thanks for all your help in advanced, because I know I will need some sooner or later.

Good. What Linux distribution are you going to install or are you still undecided? They also have live-cd versions that have install to disk options so that you can try a few distributions to see what you like.
