Just Installed Mandrake 10.1 Official

I just installed 10.1 and I cannot edit the /usr/share/apps/ksmserver/pics and picture file associated with it. It says something about "Could not open in the code Im using, it may be a Binary File" or some error like that. Im tring to remove the dragon picture from End Session Window. I did it using 9.1, but I cannot do it in 10.1...
Please explain.

I just want to remove the file picture from the /usr/share/apps/ksmserver/pics
