Just installed Fedora 17 and the Wireless Adaptor is not being detected.
I am new to Linux so thanks in advance for the help. The wireless adaptor does not appear to be activated with Fedora 17. In network manager only the wired network is visible. The machine is partitioned and the wireless network is available on the Windows partition. The machine is a Toshiba P845-S4200 with an Intel Centrino N-2200 wireless adaptor. Here are the details.

Solved: I downloaded the driver for iwlwifi-2000-5.ucode from http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=downloads I then moved the downloaded file iwlwifi-2000-6.ucode into lib/firmware/ The adaptor was detected on reboot.
