This is the only way I know of so far. For KDE, Go to Settings from the Start Menu, then click on Desktop Settings Wizard. It will ask you some questions, including how you want your GUI to behave. You can pick Windows.
It doesn't mention "Windows" by name, but rather refers to it as "Redmond" (as in Redmond, Washington, where Microsoft is).
However, I recommend you seriously give the "single click" thing a try. I gave it a shot, and after a few days I can honestly say I like it better.
Incidentally, Microsoft itself has been trying to promote the "single click" thing with each new release of Windows ever since Windows 98. The main reason is because it provides a more consistent interface between web browsing and file browsing.
Remember that's not the only way Windows does it either........Active Desktop is the same way, as it works like a web page. Me no like 2click any more either.
