JetDirect printer is configured and ready but nothing prints
I have a HP LaserJet 4050 printer that is attached to a JetDirect device. I am running RH AS 3.0 and have installed CUPS. I have configured the queue for this printer as a JetDirect device using port 9000 ( I have aslo tried it with 9100) and the approprate 4050 print driver. I'm able to ping the JetDirect IP address and when I do an lpq, the system returns that the printer is ready and printing. I have sent a couple of test prints to the printer and they get queued but nothing prints.
I believe I have a filtering issue but I don't know where to start to troubleshoot the problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
