ln -s /<java-install-dir>/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so

This works for me.

Perhaps, you could use some more detail... What steps did you take to get it to work?

ok i updated mozilla and mad a new link.......a major step for me
then i followed the directions on the mozilla site for getting java to work but im still not having any luck getting it to work

the instructions basically said to do what you told me to do and it created the link in the plugins folder, but when i try and test it it logs me out of linux
