I am new to linux,and i just purchased this software from acoustic-reality.com connected it via firewire and this is the message i get.Caan anyone please can help me and tell me what to do?

Just a few questions to help define your problem:

1) What package did you purchase? (Jack is a free download for Linux).

2) Since the package was purchased, it should come with support. Have you contacted the vendor about your problem?

3) Did you check the messages window for more info? (that can be very helpful).

4) What Linux distro are you using?

5) Can you give us some specs on your hardware?

I purchased the software from "acoustic-reality.com" and it is based on ubutnu linux(you could visit the site to see the software).
I contacted the vendor and he told me what to do,but then i got a message from JACK messages:

About my hardware:
I am using a laptop from LG model p1 withe intel core 2 1.8 ghz,a one year old,connected via firewire to an external soundcard from the same vendor(acoustic-reality.com).
The laptop is being used only for music playback
