It doesn't display the gnome UI when I using VNCview to connect a Ubuntu host.

I don't know why it always can't display the gnome UI when I using VNCview to connect a Ubuntu host.
My detail steps as following, Thanks for Any help .

First I set up one Ubuntu as vncserver
1 install VNCServer
sudo apt-get install vnc4server
2 modify VNC Password,
# vncpasswd
3.set up VNC server, vim /root/.vnc/xstartup ,add one line in the file
----
gnome-session &
----
4 start vncserver
# vncserver :1

Second,I use the VNCview to connect this host,it always show like the attached pic

I think your permissions on the remote x server need to be changed. Or, you might need to open the correct tcp port.

Thanks for your responses. So could you kindly tell me how to change the permissions on the remote x server?
I can ping this Host and VNC to it ,only the UI is not allow me do anything,so whether it can prove the tcp port is right
