Angry Issue with POP3 and SMTP

HI!

I’m very new to Linux and have a issue with POP3 and SMTP

I setup and configured transparent proxy server in Fedora 7. Well, it’s working fine.

My only problem is my clients are not able to use Microsoft outlook.

How can I allow ports 110 & 25? Should I setup Fairwall to do NATing? I really have no idea how to do that. That will be great if you can give me a idea how to do that. Thanks a lot.

Indika

Transparent Squid Proxy

If you have a similar configuration then you should be able to use Mail clients without any issues.

I have a proxy server running with similar rules. And I have no issues while receiving mails from our pop server which is outside the network and is not owned or managed by us.
