Issue - pipe_w
HI there,
I am new to this forums and to Linux env so plz bare with my basic question. Yesterday we faced unresponsive Linux server. when i saw the number of processes running i could see lot of processes running with "pipe_w" as one of the parameter. I searched in google to find what exactly pipe_w means but with no luck, i though i will post a question. If any one can give me some guidence that would be very much appreciated. Cheers rd |
I'm not 100% sure, but it may mean that it's waiting on input from a pipe.
