Issue about installing Ubuntu 9.04 on Dell XPS 1530, 4GB RAM
Hello All,
I have started using Ubuntu a couple of months back. I have Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop (Dell XPS 1530 with 4 GB RAM, 2.14 GhZ, T9300 processor). I want to upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04. But one of my friend told me that there are some issues with installing Ubuntu 9.04 on Dell laptops. Is it right? Should i upgrade or should i keep using Ubuntu 8.10. What are the remedies if there are actually some problems with it?
Secondly, while configuring finger print log in, i goofed up a bit and now i have to give password as well as swipe my finger to log in. How can i change such that either i need to give password or i swipe the finger to log in?
Thanks a lot people,
Ranveer
