The first post charged this thread. snatale1, I bet if you had refrained from profanity, you'd have gotten away with your comment. The truth is that this thread had biased POV (anti -lindows - likely never used it) and you're falling into the trap. I agree that rauko stepped over the line with his comment. Why join him in the gutter? Can't you be bigger and follw the adages fo a fellow American (Kenny Rogers) and turn the other cheek. Rauko will either go away or be silenced by those who want to do it to him. Be teflon and help those who ask questions. Do you notice that spammers have no chance here? That's because we ignore them and they go away. So will bigotry and racism if you let it. Chill, man. You've got a lot to offer to the newbies who come here. Please go there instead of into the gutter where Rauko is.

snatale1, as a fellow American, please, let it rest. Some people will never understand us. No need getting in trouble over it. He most likely won't care what you say anyway.

Later

snatale1 - my living in the UK has nothing to do with my editing your post. I edited your post because of the content. If any member had posted a comment like that, I would have edited their post. If you had politely said that you disagreed with the poster or had reported his post, the outcome would have been different. I took Rauko's first comment to be a joke (as evidenced by the smiley).

Anyway, to stop this thread degenerating further, I am closing it.

BTW, there are programs which will let you connect to AOL under Linux - do a search, there are quite a few threads.
