isa server linux client

Okay this is driving me nuts.
running the gnome desktop or from command line I get no Inet access. all the ip address sm and gateway is correct. I can ping my gateway router, the ISA Server ect. I can't get any further than that. if I allow everything from my machine name to go out I get out but that's going to go over like a turd in a punchbowl with the board. anyone with pointers to how to make mozilla work with this I will give my undying gratitude and stuff.
