Is video streaming for images?

Is that requires a video streaming in case of only capture images and store it, without transmit it over the internet?

Sorry, your question is almost impossible to understand...please write clearly, and ask a clear question.

Are you asking if you've got a still image, if you need a video streamer to share it over the internet? Or are you using a camera to capture an image, and want to only store it, not transmit it? The answers to both are very obvious...still images aren't streams, so you don't need a streaming engine to share it. And if you don't want to share images/videos/etc/, then DON'T share them...make the URL private, put up a firewall, etc. Lots of options, depending on what you actually mean.

Yes.
Thanks, you answered me, and sorry for my bad.

I have another question,
If I receive that images on Beagle Board, and I want to upload it once received on a server, Will it also don't need to a video streaming?

Again, it's very hard to understand what you're asking, and your questions aren't very clear. What, EXACTLY, do you mean by "receive that images on Beagle Board"? Receive them HOW? from WHERE? Version/distro of Linux??? Upload it HOW, to what KIND of server?

If you have an image, you can copy it wherever you want, just like you would any other file.

A webcam connected on Beagle Board. This webcam has motion detection sw.
It capture images and store it.
Linux: Ununtu 9.10

the question is: If I want to upload that images -once it is saved on the BB- to an own server created by me on the internet, will it need a video streaming(sending images from BB to the internet)?

Are you trying to do webcast?

If that what you want is a simple copy of the images from the BB to your server, you don't need a streaming software for that. For doing a simple copy you don't need streaming software at all, not even for videos. You can do the copy with, for example, FTP, Samba, rsync, SCP, ... .

AGAIN, NO. An image is just another file. Nothing special about it. Copy it, move it, just like any other file.
