is there free linux OS with a desktop or a screen with icons ? im really new if you know of one please send link on forms

I have some good news for you: most Linux distributions can be (legally) downloaded for free. And most of those have a desktop as well. Take a look here, you'll find a lot of them: http://distrowatch.com/

There are TONS of free Linux OS's with graphical desktops.

You can download any number of them here.

I'd say around 95% are free, while some have free and commercial versions, and again, the days of command line OS are pretty well gone,almost all Linux OS's have a GUI of some type....

My personal favorite is Ubuntu, but here's some others that are popular... Ubuntu has an easy setup, great software repositories, etc,

Edit to add...Only other thing I'd recommend, is stay away from the really obscure distros, as you'll likely need help, and if you use some oddball distro, it will be hard to come across..

Ubuntu, Mandriva, PCLinuxOS, Suse, Fedora, all have a fairly wide user base, and most of the time help can be had with a simple google search.
