Is there an In dept explaination of 2.4.22 Kernal options?

I was just wondering if there is an in depth explaination as to all the kernal options in the 2.4.22 kernal, as some of the info is great but half the time I just hope I have gotten rid of most of the things I donīt need and still have those that I do!

Specifically confusing for me are the Scsi and USB sections. I am only going to use Scsi emmulation for my cdrw and the USB is only to use my digital camera (As a mass storage device)

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be really grateful!

Adam

Which info are you refering to?

Did you check out the Documentation dir in the kernel source directory (/usr/src/linux/Documentation/)?

What documentation?

No I was nosing around one day and came across a file that had all the same info as when you compile the kernal. I would like somthing that has all the sections broken up with in dept explainations for why you do or donīt need the items... USB/SCSI/ ...... in sections.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say!

Thanks
Adam

PS I will take a look in the directory (I am at work at the moment and we only have windows here)
