Unhappy Is there a yast type utility for Fedora 16? Specifically for NFS


Is there an NFS utility for Fedora 16 so Idont have to make all the directories when adding an NFS mount?

Hi mkesling,

As far as I am aware there is no yast type utility in Fedora 16. Could you please be more specific when you say

Where you are adding an NFS mount? Are you talking about editing /etc/exports. Even on SLES I prefer editing /etc/exports as that is much faster than using yast or yast2.

I just discovered mkdir -p which solved my problem making directories for mounts.

Still miss yast.

Oops! So you wanted to create multiple directories in one shot. Question appeared to me as you wanted some tweaking advice on NFS.
