Reading about it, I am not sure why you would want that. Getting it to work might make your life harder that solving the problem you are trying to solve by hand. Anyhow, there is Ubuntu packages. You can download the Debian source package for Ubuntu and build it for Debian instead. But this may not help you installing driver, even if the app itself is working.

What would be the point? Not like it is difficult to install drivers in Debian.

To just answer the question: Yes, there is a way to get it working in Debian: Have a look at the source-code, make the necessary changes, build a Debian package.
