Is there a quick way to rename files in xfce4 filemanager?

I sometimes have many files to rename at once (pictures, audio, etc.) and it takes a while in xfce4. I must right click->file->rename. I can go pretty fast on cmd line with mv, but its still kinda slow and bad for pictures (since I want to see what pic i'm naming).

I need some quick way to rename files and F2 does not work in xfce4. How can I make an 'accelerator key' or what way to rapidly rename files.

use a script...but all files need to be unique, so you'll have to generate an auto nu count, which, you probably don't want if files are to be a SPECIFIC name that you would like to chose. There for you are SOL, one file @ a time
