Question Is there a KDE GUI Account Creator pkg. available for Slackware

Sorry but I have been hopelessly spoiled by Ubuntu and Open Suse. But is there a KDE desktop account creator. I wish not to face the net with full root hanging out.

Not sure why it has to be a kde desktop app. What's wrong with using adduser?

Thanks for the memory jogging have to plead the temporary "weakness of intellect I suffer from or am I chronically duumb" brought on by the lateness of the hour. (Love your quote)

Welcome Natty Narwhal. Narwhal as in 671, where I did the RPA overhaul Charleston? She may be the last sub of my era still sailing. I also back fit the first computer-ish control and instrumentation stuff on Batfish. For passers-by, Admiral Rickover would not allow computers in his engine rooms while he was alive, wanting his sailors to be "smarter than the machines they operated." Sic Transit Gloria Mundi.

I've recently been defenestrated, after 'dozing for 30 years, so I am GUI centric, but learning to use and trust CUI.

BTB, your 'Einstein' is a couple of removes from the man himself, through The Metaphoric Mind by Bob Samples (1976) and Planetary Survival Manual by Matthew Stein (2000), p. 51. Einstein also did not say/write "Nuclear power is a hell of a way to boil water."

Cool Origin of Moniker NattyNarwhal

Actually I adopted the user name from the Ubuntu upgrade "Narwhal" the Natty referring to the esoteric clutter my thoughts by long habit embrace. Unaware of the USS Narwhal closest I came was an old fleet oiler, the USS Navisota, with wooden decks above the well deck and built in 1932 and held together at the time by the rust and the paint. Her propeller shafts so old we probably held the record for most sharks attracted at one time in the Pacific Fleet. I pulled the quote attributed to Einstein from the user manual of "The Wildwood Tarot" by Mark Ryan & John Matthews. I guess you just can't always put your faith in your cards.

And all clever people were good,
The world would be nicer than ever
We thought that it possibly could.

But somehow 'tis seldom or never
The two hit it off as they should,
The good are so harsh to the clever,
The clever, so rude to the good!

So friends, let it be our endeavour
To make each by each understood;
For few can be good, like the clever,
Or clever, so well as the good."
