Post Is there a KDE Forum?

I can not access my netscape e-mail address when using Konqueror...though I have no problem using Mozilla.
What is wrong? I installed KNOPPIX Rev. 3.2 2003-06-06 which comes with KDE 3.1.2.
Re post#2 and #5:
No error message, after putting in username and password it runs into a loop ----"waiting for reply" for hours.

This is the best mailing list Describe the problem to us.

If you insist on a KDE mailing list

BTW, there is a forum as well... A quick Google search turned up...

http://www.kde-forum.org/

BUT...

This board gets 10x the traffic and I have found everyone here pretty helpful, so since your here anyway, why don't you elaborate on your question and tell us if you get any sort of errors?

Re.: Konqueror vs. Netscape

Hi Orwick, Hi darthtux!
sorry for the delayed reply!

This is what I do after connecting to the internet:

----Open Konqueror Web Browser
----type in the address field: www.netscape.com ->click: 'go'

Netscape Home page opens ---> click: 'Mail'
Netscape.net/AOL Login Page opens ---> type in screen name: 'myscrennname'
---> type in password: 'mypassword'

Screen shows an empty window.
In the text bar on the bottom of the empty window
the following messages appear repeatedly
in the given sequence:

> my screenname.aol.com contacted. Waiting for reply....
> Page loaded
> Retrieving 4.3KB from my screenname.aol.com
> ncmail.netscape.com contacted. Waiting for reply...
> Page loaded

This goes on and on, until I close the window. Ther is no other error message!

When I use the Mozilla Web Browser with the same procedure,
I have immediately access to my e-mail!
What do I do wrong by using Konqueror???
Regards
JayGee

easiest fix for this problem is to use Mozilla or Firebird. There could be a plugin that is available under Mozilla, but not Konqueror (or not installed).
