Question Is there a decent full system diagnostics for Linux


I was just wondering if there is a diagnostic package available for Linux to run a complete test of my system?

i'm not looking to test a specific component just looking for something to test the overall performance of my system inc. motherboard, video card, hard drive, ram etc.

there are some diagnostic tools here for ur hard disk

also u can find tools of other interest also
this is not dependent on any OS,and free ,,of course!!


i had seen some tools on windows like si soft sandra but i do not have much idea about the same for linux,
