Is there a Backbox Linux Software Center?

I was told Backbox Linux is a refined Kali linux because there is a full OS behind it. Is there a convenient way to download software for it like a software center? I'm really new to it and wanted to explore.

It's one of those questions like the price of an expensive car.

In this case if you have to ask, you don't need it. Consider learning linux from one of the top 20 at distrowatch.com

I thought it was funny that I checked the site just now and what distro was on top.

Greencup, I'm a newbie to linux also. Check out this link: http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=popularity
Of the first ten or so listed in each column, I've found, as a newbie, that Mint, Ubuntu, Elementary, Zorin, & Lubuntu are good choices starting out in Linux. They have very easy to use software centers for adding programs. If you click on any of the distributions (distros) in the list, you can find out more about it. You can also click on their download page, which has a lot of information.
Good luck in finding the best distribution for you.
Best regards,
Cleve

In an odd twist, it did show up in the top of one list. :)
