Is my system using the USB 2.0 specification?

Kernel 2.6.21.5, Slackware 12.0

Hi:
I have a 2.0 USB device at /dev/sda1. How can I know if my system is using the 2.0 specification? Thanks.

If the hardware is even half-way modern, it will support USB 2.0. Or are you trying to find out if your USB 2.0 hardware is running in USB 1.x mode?

Thanks for your kindness. I know my machine has the necessary hardware to support USB 2.0 devices such as my pendrive (aka memory stick).

I want to find out if my USB 2.0 hardware is running in 1.x mode. Maybe this helps:
Code:
$ lspci
00:01.2 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] USB 1.0 Controller (rev 07)
00:01.3 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] USB 1.0 Controller (rev 07)
$
