Is it possible to have a triple boot system
 

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right place for this question because although I installed Ubuntu on my Windows machine some time ago, I have not had much time to play around with it and get to know it.

Everyone has been raving about Linux Mint so I thought I would like to try it by installing it on a USB memory stick but I was unsuccessful in getting it to work properly so I am now wondering if it is feasible to install it alongside my Windows 7 and Ubuntu installations.

Will it simply add Linux Mint to the boot menu so that I have the option of all three OS or will the grub menu have to be edited?

Also is there a Linux command that will enable me to find the total space taken up by Windows and Ubuntu so that I can see if there is enough room for Linux Mint?

Yes, it is certainly possible to have 3 OS's or more on one machine. As with a dual boot system, you'd want to install Windows first, then your second OS(Ubuntu for example), then your third OS(Mint), and so on. This may require some reconfiguring of LILO or Grub, whichever you're using, after your final OS is installed.

As for disk space; fdisk from the command line or qtparted/gparted from the gui. Either of these should give you the info you need.
