Is a "raw cd image" the same as an iso?

I have downloaded Ultimate Ubuntu but It says it is a "raw cd image." Can I burn that as an iso(burn image to disc), or is it something different. It comes with NTFS read and write and I am considering changing to 32 bit Edgie on my AMD64 machine to eliminate some problems such as flash 9 and Easyubuntu.

Yes, you should burn a "raw CD image" as an iso.

Thanks, Tredegar. Ubuntu Ultimate (beta) is installed and running. Firefox is a little buggy(The kill button and minimize button disappear every so often) but it seems to be just as fast as the 64 bit Edgie on my AMD64. I haven't found the windows drive yet, so I don't know if the NTFS read/write is working or not.I appreciate your help.
