iptables help


Hello.

Can someone help me. How to block all port using iptables and allow only accepted port like port 22, port 80. tq.

if you're as new to iptables as you sound, then don't use it. let a wrapper tool like firestarter or guarddog do the nasty stuff for you.

Some distro's have their own firewall configuration GUI programs where you can simply select the service you will be offering.

Actually I'm also very new to iptables but I already spent a lot of time reading about it. A simple script which blocks everything but 22 and 80, perhaps with some explanation would be great!
