iptables chain rule specifation

friends,

In one of the script i observerd following line.

Code:
$iptables -A inwan_level_input_filter -p icmp -j logInboundPermitteddo
these "inwan_level_input_filter" and "logInboundPermitted" can be a group of chain rules or any label .

If it is a group of chain rules , how can it be created.

thanks

# iptables -N inwan_level_input_filter
# iptables -N logInboundPermitteddo

> man iptables

This creates a new user chain called "inwan_level_input_filter" and "logInboundPermitteddo". To delete it, you use -X.
