Hi guys:
Since i installed the iptable fire wall, i cant use p2p programs. i tried the configuration with guarddog without succes. i try gift, x mule, etc.
Sounds like you need to open some ports. Do you know what ports you need open for your p2p? If not I suggest you look on the p2p creators website. Most oftem they provide details about which ports need to be open for the software to work. Then you will need to configure your iptables script.
you can set it to anything but ed2k, emule, amule, xmule, etc. use TCP 4662 and UDP 4672 by default. You will need to forward these through any routers and firewalls you have.
