Smile ipm timed out error on Red Hat 2.6.9-67.0.22.ELsmp #1 SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/L

Hi,

I'm running a telecomms app (smsc) on the Linux release above.

The debug shows me that the smsc kernel picks up the test message, sends it to the correct component (GSM transmitter). The component registers the message & starts to process it, but I see this error below while it does so, then it stops processing further :

> xInEnv: IPM timed out [env_sua.c,1228]

Now, the app uses ipm to communicate between components, and they are registered in a file. There is no configurable option for ipm timeout that I know of. I may be wrong, if so would really appreciate some assistance.

Could anyone help me to determine what I need to do to stop further recurrences of this error.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Naresh B.
