IP of DialUp Service

Dear Friends ,

When I am using Dial up Service from my Home , Then I get
Real ip into My Pc . Suppose I get IP :

IP = 202.59.142.2 And I also get Gateway samp IP =202.59.142.2

But I know the Modem Pool Has its own Gateway . So when I am connected through Dial Up then why it shows the following Ip as my Gateway ?

i.e, I want to know why IP and Gateway are same for this respect ? Waiting for ur reply..........

ISP's generally use DHCP (because its efficient and saving (darn! i forgot the exact word)), so when you connect to your ISP using dialup, you get assigned a public ip,default gateway, and dns information dynamically, and this network configuration lasts for the session.
