Question ip addy on Fedora


how do i search for my ip addy on fedora?

make sure you are root ...
and if your switching to root by typing "su" and not "su -"
then you'll probably have to type the full path /sbin/ifconfig

Don't know if you helped the other guy but you definitely helped me. Thanks for the information.

I picked up the RedHat Linux 9 Bible the other day and your post made me do a little reading that I hadn't gotten to yet.

I'm learning. No, really... I'm learning this Linux stuff...
