Hi,
what is the command for how to check my Ip Address on my computer of fedora?

You have been asking a lot of homework questions.....

This one is easy for you to figure out yourself. Two hints:
1. Google
2. In a terminal: "man -k network"

Pixellany,

Its not Homework. I have been given System Administrator job in my university under training. My job starts from feb 1. So i want to know basics first.

I do not know that whether you give /sbin/ifconfig enough rights, maybe for some reason you should login in as root.
then try "ifconfig -a " and if you do not so clear for this,then "man ifconfig" good luck to you !

Sorry for the "burn" but, dude, System Administrator and you don't know how to check an IP.......... Terrible, just terrible.

I know i am weak in linux. So i am go to get training first. No need to criticize boss. Everybody has to learn at some or the other time.
