Unhappy ip address


Assume that my machine is DNS server, which way can I know an IP address of other computers that sending ping to DNS server??

Last time I tried to use another PC to ping to DNS server but i didn't get any logs from syslog.

You could set a rule in iptables to log ping requests, but I don't think it's done by default

Try Shields Up

Test your system with Shields Up and get an idea of what's happening.
