Well I would like to know if I can send an email of the invoice through the software to the customers directly as well. and then I will read about " How to's " after I installed. So It is possible to email the invoice out?
Thanks!

Still have NO IDEA what you're asking.
You don't tell us version/distro of Linux, what "the software" is you're talking about/using, etc. Again, as said, you can send emails easily, and Linux 'allows' you to do pretty much anything you'd like. You can do this in about a dozen programming languages that Linux supports, and hundreds (if not THOUSANDS) of software packages (both commercial and free).
under linux there are several applications for generating documents. These can be used for the purpose of creating and editing an invoice.
Can you send an email directly from this application. Not that I am aware of (but there are greater minds who may be reading). The procedure would be to generate the invoice, store on your hard drive and then email this file via an email client (of which there are also several).
I understand that you are asking this: Is there Linux accounting software that can generate invoices and then email them to customers?
Take a look at Gnucash and kmymoney. I've not had a need for either, but they are the pick of the litter. I don't know whether they can generate invoice emails automatically when an invoice is prepared, but you should be able to answer that question at the links.
