I'd like to use Linux, and I'm willing to learn... but I have to get my internet working on it first, before I can start doing anything.
Here's the problem: I've got a USB DSL modem. It's a D-Link DSL-200, and I don't know my setup details. You know, the phone number and stuff to set up conncetions? I don't know it, noone does.
My internet provider - TPG - just mailed us the modem and a CD that automatically set up the connection on Windows.
So I guess my questions are:
(1) How can I get a USB modem to work with Linux?
(2) How can I find out my connection info to enter into Linux?
