Internet-SuSE


Noob running SuSE linux 10
When I have my netgear wireless usb adapter plugged in i can access my router and i get an ip.

When i have ethernet in everything works fine.

When the netgear wireless adapter is in I cannot access any web pages.

NETGEAR USB-
IP=good(192.168.1.5)
Network=good(can access router)


Ethernet-
IP=good(192.168.1.5)
network=good(ip and web surfing)

Are you disabling the ethenet interface before trying to connect the wireless. Currently you are using the same IP address. This is not good pratice. I would give each there own IP and make sure you have DNS servers setup in your resolve.conf file.
