Internet on YDL 4.1

Hey, I just got YellowDog 4.1 installed on my iBook G3 (500MHz). However I don't know how to connect to the internet. I have DSL (Bell Sympatico) and thus regularly I have to use a login/password in XP ... but how do I go about setting everything up in YDL?!

Also, does YDL support the AirPort card? I don't want to buy an AirPort card if it's not supported.

Thanks

Question Internet on YDL 4.1

I need to run the Roaring Penguin PPPoE client (RP-PPPOE). However, I don't know where to find it! I know I have the application becuase I just tried installing RP-PPOE version 3-3.1, and the computer informed me that I already have version 3-5.1 installed.

I'm currently checking in:

/usr/bin

I've found a icon shortcut entitled "pppoe", but when I double-click it, nothing happens.

Basically I need to run RP-PPPOE so I can setup my internet connection.

Thanks in advance,

- I Love Lagar -

What kind of hardware your ISP has given you? How is that connected to your machine?

As for AirPort cards, the Wikipedia article on YDL says that AirPort Express cards won't work "without modifications to the kernel". The article is here. You might want to check other sources, in order to verify this.
