Internet from the command line?

Hey,

I'm connected remotely using SSH to my linux box, and im trying to setup an FTP server. But I'm have a little problem because I forget to foward the port on my router. THe only way I could change that without going home would be to get on the net from my linux box through SSH.

Any idea's?

Thanks

What kind of router? Cause if its Linksys you have to put in a Password only but when you try to access the router thru Lynx or Links which are console web browsers, it will fail cause they think you need to put in a Username.

I got the port forwarded. Used telnet on my linux box to connect to my router.

But I need a way to get the ftp configuration files downloaded onto my linux box.

EDIT: I downloaded vsftpd using ftp.

Thanks for your help.
