Internet connection SUSE 9.0
 
I recently installed SUSE Linux 9.0 personal edition. I have been unable to establish a connection to the internet. When I attempt to connect, it looks as though its not recognizing my modem. I do not have a winmodem. It is a US robotics. I configured my modem through Yast, but am not sure if I did this correctly. The kinternet log shows establishing connection for a long time, but my connection never seems to go through.

Yes I am using a dial up connection.

You will need to use kinternet,right click and configure the settings,I don't use it but it is in the book on page 145,good luck david
