After reading the book on that page.. , I came to conclusion and halfway thru they finally mention the NIC is an Intel PRO/1000 which you can find the dirvers or information on supporting the card on their site at : http://www.intel.com/support/network...inux/e1000.htm

Good luck...

They do have instructions on that same page: http://www.intel.com/support/network...00.htm#install

You will have to have gcc installed on Redhat to compile from source however. Login as root at a terminal or console, su -, to find out if you have gcc installed. You can simply type gcc and hit tab twice for all available commands in your path. See if gcc is listed or try gcc -V or is it lowercase, can't remember to see if spits out some version number. Anyways, if its not installed, you most likely can obtain it from your Redhat installation cd's to install before compiling this driver from intel.

Oh another way to find out since your on or using Redhat, its rpm based and you can search the rpm database like this to see if its installed:

rpm -qa | grep gcc*

Let us know....
