Internet Connection Locking Up During Downloads
 

I just installed SuSE 9.1 on my computer. Got the iso off the net. Anyway, the installation went well and all my hardware seems to be working properly. Only one problem... when I try to do an Online Update with YAST or when I try to download a rpm or other software off the net my internet connection stalls and it locks up my computer. I've never had this problem before... I had SuSE 9.0 Professional on my computer before I installed SuSE 9.1 Personal. Anyway, If anyone has any ideals on how to remedy this problem, please let me know.

ps one other thing to mention

just before the internet connection starts to stall... the kinternet tool in the task bar disappears... also i'm using a broadband cable modem... used it with SuSE 9.0 and it worked fine... never any problems.
