Internet connection
HI, tellI am trying to get a internet connection going on a fresh install of Linux RedHat 9 2.4.6. I have a system with a P4P-VM with a onboard Intel NIC.
Linux sees it and identifies it as a Intel Ether Express 100. I go int Internet Connection Wizard and configure and activate it and reboot, but it doesnt work. Am i missing something? Do I need to get the Linux drivers from Intel or ASUS |
If you gain connection on activation of device, but lose it on reboot. Then, check the first tab in the editing of your settings on the device to see if the box for load on boot is marked, or you can go CLI and add it to your startup scripts.
Hope this helps, Alunduil |
I never get connected, i did check the load on Boot, and rebooted, but it didnt seem to help. What is CLI?

connection
Does the net config say it is activated? If so, then click on Mozilla or Konqueror and you should be connected. In mozilla, go to edit>preferences> then enter the homepage you want starting with http://www. whatever.whatever.
